Responsibilities
I have lived in Wollaston since 1997 and feel I could not have chosen a better place to raise my family. Everyone is friendly and there is everything I need on my doorstep or within easy reach. Before taking the role of Clerk in January 2006, I spent many years as an administrator in local government at Borough level. I also worked as a customer service adviser for a large building society which is where I gained a lot of my sales and customer service skills. Being a Clerk to a Parish Council is a varied job with lots to learn. I find the work extremely rewarding and feel that, in a small way, I can help to make a difference to where I live.
