Wollaston Parish Council

Councillors for Wollaston Parish Council

Parish Councils were instituted by an Act of Parliament in 1895. With a population of some 3,500 the village is entitled to 13 Councillors. They are elected for a term of four years and the next election is due in May 2011. The village also has one representative on the County Council (who also represents Irchester), and two Borough Councillors.
